Dr. Pranav Shukla has always had an affinity for helping others. In fact, it’s what inspired him to study medicine. Dr. Shukla did his residency in family medicine at Stony Brook University Hospital, where he served as Chief Resident. After finishing his residency, he pursued his career in emergency medicine. He has over a decade of experience in emergency medicine and has received professional recognition for his instrumental role in the start-up of Baytown Neighbors Emergency Center. He served as a Medical Director of Baytown Neighbors Emergency Center. He also served as a Board Member of Avail Lake Charles Hospital.
Driven by his passion for helping others, Dr. Shukla is embarking on a new venture as Medical Director/Founder & CEO of Shine MD MedSpa & Liposuction Center, specializing in state-of-the-art aesthetics, wellness, anti-aging, and regenerative medicine. Dr. Shukla has obtained advanced training to provide superb care and the highest level of results for his patients, including certifications in anti-aging medicine, regenerative medicine, hormone replacement therapy, laser treatment for erectile dysfunction, weight management, dermal filler, botulinum toxin, and facial aesthetics.
He also has obtained advanced training for various cosmetic procedures including Smart Lipo, or Laser Lipo. He is specialized in the advance techniques of these procedures for great outcomes. Dr. Shukla is a husband and father of two. When he is not working, he enjoys spending time with his family and friends.
